We took our new dog to Boston Veterinary Clinic, and we were so pleased! Dr. Lindsay was great – she was so sweet with our pup! He clearly loved her. He didn’t even notice when she gave him his vaccine! She spent extra time with us, answering our “new dog paw-rents” questions (of which there were many!) and she was kind and helpful. The facility is nice and all the folks who work there are very friendly and kind. Highly recommend!

Vaccinations
Boston Veterinary Clinic recommends vaccinations plans that are customized to you and your pet’s life together. Although three “core” vaccinations are required, we assess your pet’s individual environment and recommend additional preventions if necessary. (After all, we’re treating urban animals here.) All vaccines are the best “insurance” to help your furry friends live longer, happier, and healthier lives.
Spays & Neuters
Boston Veterinary Clinic recommends neutering your new puppy or kitten. For dogs or cats, both surgical procedures are generally performed around six months of age. These procedures will result in your pet no longer being able to reproduce. Better overall health, longer lives, and calmer, better socialized behavior are key reasons to consider this procedure.
Microchipping
Becoming separated from a loved pet is a very stressful experience that can happen all too easily. Microchipping is the only unique, tamper-proof, permanent form of identification that guardians can provide for pets. The owner’s contact information as well as the pet’s description are entered in a database. When a microchip is scanned, the database will retrieve the owner and pet information assigned to that microchip in order to reunite the missing pet with his or her family.
BEST FED & MED FRIENDS
Boston Veterinary can set-up free delivery of your pet’s food and your pet’s medications. All prescriptions are filled with products direct from the manufacturer and each medication is checked and re-checked by alicensed veterinarian for accuracy. We can also set-up auto-refills to make caring for your pet convenient, safe and affordable.
